IN the Fridge

Vegetables

  • Leafy Greens (Remove as much air as possible, do not tie)
  • Summer Squash (e.g.: zucchini, squash)
  • Cruciferous Vegetables (e.g.: cabbage, broccoli, brussels sprouts)

Fruits

  • Stone Fruits (e.g.: peaches, plums)
  • Pome Fruits (e.g.: apples, pears)
  • Citrus Fruits (e.g.: oranges, lemons, limes)
  • Melons (e.g.: watermelon, honeydew)
  • Berries (e.g.: grapes, blueberries)

 

OUT of the Fridge

Vegetables

  • Tomatoes
  • Cucumbers (no more than 3-5 days in fridge if room temperature is hot)
  • Root Vegetables (e.g.: carrots, turnips)
  • Potatoes & Sweet Potatoes
  • Onions, Leeks & Shallots
  • Garlic

Fruits

  • Bananas
