Shishito Peppers are a real treat. They are not hot or spicy but more sweet and tart. When charred with garlic they make a most impressive and delicious side dish.
In a cast iron skillet on high heat place olive oil. As soon as it is hot, add peppers and garlic (no need to seed or stem the peppers). Stir fy quickly for about 4 to 5 minutes until well charred. Add salt and pepper and serve.
